What is the reference Bible and its information in detail

A reference bible is CRITICAL to unlocking the Word of God. It connects the dots so to speak and opens the understanding of Bible prophecy, a faith-building endeavour, for those seeking the knowledge of the True God Jehovah. If someone is attempting to understand “the deep things of God” without a reference Bible, it would be like digging a grave in the ground with a spoon. Know this; Scripture interprets Scripture. There is not one thought and often verse in the scriptures which is not supported by another. The Bible is truly an awe-inspiring orchestra of harmonious thoughts, words and principles that flow like a river with many deltas or branches which are all interconnected. Do you know what is a reference bible, continue reading to know completely.

For example, it expressed in the Old Testament that a 1,000 days on earth is a day in the heavens:

“For a thousand years are in your eyes just as yesterday when it is past,

Just as a watch during the night”.

The same thought is expressed in the New Testament by Peter:

“However, do not let this escape your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.”

There are two different scriptures, two distinct periods, two other authors but the same thought. Scripture interprets Scripture, and with the help of a reference Bible, you now know how to measure time spiritually. It is critical to understanding the fulfilment of Bible prophecy.

Whilst both have the same basis of the Word of God, and the Study Bible will often provide some detailed notes and explanations that enlarge the understanding of the underlying Truths of the Word and may also add notes of historical and archaeological interest. Some even include small Bible studies. Sometimes it isn’t easy to fully understand the Scriptures until someone contextualises the verse.

A reference Bible is a handy aid to studying because it gives cross-references to specific verses, and using this aid means that you can get a lot more out of each verse. Sometimes, by cross-referencing, a verse one discovers that there is more meaning than just that in a particular verse and the three or four or five other references together explain or fulfil the fullness of the verse. Throughout my Christian walk, I have used the Amplified Bible because it has already included the cross-referencing etc., and has been supported by many very well known Biblical scholars who already have explored the Greek and the Hebrew translations.

What is a Thinline reference Bible and how is it used?

Thinline Bibles:

These Bibles that are thinner than average, typically one inch or less. It makes them lighter and easy to carry. If you’re looking for a smaller Bible to carry around with you, Thinline, slimline and trimline Bibles are a great option.

How do I do a topical Bible study?

I like topical studies because they keep you focused on a particular subject. To study the Bible is a vast endeavour requiring, time, space, continuity or regularity, a purpose and an end. But above all, Absolute Faith that the Bible is the written Word of God delivered by the Holy Spirit to the authors of Scripture! There is much controversy about the Bible, and it will continue until the end of time!

The truth concerning the Bible is much like a treasure hunt to use an example. Some people make a quick strike and discover the gold quickly, but it soon runs out! Others conduct a diligent search often in places not already searched by others. Lo and behold by their active search, they not only find gold but the most gold!

Bible study filled with fruitful and spiritual rewards and will strengthen the student to prepare him or her for the trials and tribulations that come with being a Christian. After all, John 16: 33 says KJV ” These things I have spoken to you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation & write for us education: But be of good cheer; I ( Jesus ) have overcome the world. “
